Creating a virtual DISPLAY using a program like &lt;span style="color:#f92672"&gt;[&lt;/span&gt;Xephyr&lt;span style="color:#f92672"&gt;](&lt;/span&gt;https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/Xephyr/&lt;span style="color:#f92672"&gt;)&lt;/span&gt;
&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="display:flex;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;2. giving the container access to the &lt;span style="color:#e6db74"&gt;`&lt;/span&gt;DISPLAY&lt;span style="color:#e6db74"&gt;`&lt;/span&gt;
&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="display:flex;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;

&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="display:flex;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;2. Now run &lt;span style="color:#e6db74"&gt;`&lt;/span&gt;Xephyr :1 -ac -br -screen 1024x768 -resizeable -reset -terminate&lt;span style="color:#e6db74"&gt;`&lt;/span&gt; to create a X-Server
&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="display:flex;"&gt;&lt;span&gt; - &lt;span style="color:#e6db74"&gt;`&lt;/span&gt;:1&lt;span style="color:#e6db74"&gt;`&lt;/span&gt; is the display-id; this will need to be passed to what ever wants to access the display
&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="display:flex;"&gt;&lt;span&gt; - &lt;span style="color:#e6db74"&gt;`&lt;/span&gt;-ac&lt;span style="color:#e6db74"&gt;`&lt;/span&gt; disables access control restrictions
&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="display:flex;"&gt;&lt;span&gt; - &lt;span style="color:#e6db74"&gt;`&lt;/span&gt;-br&lt;span style="color:#e6db74"&gt;`&lt;/span&gt; creates a window with a black background
&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="display:flex;"&gt;&lt;span&gt; - &lt;span style="color:#e6db74"&gt;`&lt;/span&gt;-screen 1024x768&lt;span style="color:#e6db74"&gt;`&lt;/span&gt; sets the default screen size
&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="display:flex;"&gt;&lt;span&gt; - &lt;span style="color:#e6db74"&gt;`&lt;/span&gt;-resizeable&lt;span style="color:#e6db74"&gt;`&lt;/span&gt; makes the screen &lt;span style="color:#f92672"&gt;(&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#66d9ef"&gt;for&lt;/span&gt; the guest&lt;span style="color:#f92672"&gt;)&lt;/span&gt; and the window &lt;span style="color:#f92672"&gt;(&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#66d9ef"&gt;for&lt;/span&gt; the host&lt;span style="color:#f92672"&gt;)&lt;/span&gt; resizeable
&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="display:flex;"&gt;&lt;span&gt; - &lt;span style="color:#e6db74"&gt;`&lt;/span&gt;-reset&lt;span style="color:#e6db74"&gt;`&lt;/span&gt; closes the host-window, when the guest exits the X-Server

Currently I am using Ubuntu Gnome 15.10.
Everything is working out of the box, except the 3-Finger-Gestures and
the Fingerprint-Reader.&lt;/p&gt;

but no matter what, they seemed to bug out after so time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Good, high quality power supplies didn&amp;rsquo;t help in my case.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Even with a high quality PSU only &lt;code&gt;4.8 Volts&lt;/code&gt; where on the test points of the
raspberry.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;##My Solution&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Use a Buck-Converter that outputs about &lt;code&gt;5.2 Volts&lt;/code&gt;
(The Buck-Converter is the &lt;code&gt;kis3r33s&lt;/code&gt; available from china)
The advantage of this Buck-Converter is, that is can actually supply enough
amperage for the raspberry. The converter does not get warm.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;I used the shortest USB-Cable I could find (about 15cm), so that the voltage
drop of the cable would be minimal.&lt;/li&gt;
